USDA REAP Grant

The USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program provides grants for up to 50% of project costs to agricultural producers and rural small businesses who go solar.

Eligibility

Agricultural producers and rural small businesses that meet the program requirements are invited to apply for REAP grant funding. To be eligible for the REAP grant, agricultural producers must be directly engaged in the production of agricultural products with at least 50% of their gross income generated by their agricultural operations. Small businesses located in a rural area with a maximum population of 50,000 are eligible to get a REAP grant.
